This is probably my favorite photo from the entire frozen Chicago shoot. The sand can be seen frozen and covered with snow in breath-taking formations.

Solid section of ice at the beach. This area for some reason, had smooth solid ice, while the section of the lake to the right of the barrier on the right side of the picture was all cracked.

The Chicago river where Wacker drive turns and starts heading East. The river is wide, and it especially looks huge with the frozen surface.
